To your rescue is billet-doux – mavens of handmade couture stationery and invitations for brides-to-be, bridesmaids, hot (new) mamas, girly girls, manly men and everyone in between. From fetes to gratitude, billet-doux has been spicing up parties and mailboxes since the turn of the century.

Our creative process is clinically proven to reduce stress and exponentially increase fun in your life (at no extra charge). Your dream project can be yours within just six painless weeks after engaging bilet-doux. That said, we pride ourselves on meeting most any deadline… just ask!

and, it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3… couture

1) Whether on the tele or face-to-face, we’ll have a quick pow-WOW! to get an exact understanding of what you want. Give us a jingle or drop a line to set-up an appointment to get your party started. We’ll also help you navigate through various papers, colors, embellishments and printing options (a flat print is used as billet-doux’s standard).

2) Two short weeks after our juicy conversation, we’ll email two to three mock-up samples for your viewing pleasure. If we’re reincarnating a billet-doux classic, samples can be turned around sooner. Take a close look and tell us what works, what doesn’t -- or that it’s a wrap! We’re happy to tweak and work with you to achieve the perfect piece. Now that’s couture, baby!

3) Upon receipt of an approved proof and a 50% nonrefundable deposit (applied to the total order), billet-doux party girls will start on your VIP (very important project). Allow three to four weeks for printing and assembly. In the interest of time, we can get envelopes to you in advance for addressing purposes, and you’re also welcome to pitch in with assembly. Full payment is due at time of delivery.

On average* invitations and save the dates cost $5 to $10, announcements are $4 to $6 and wedding sets start at $8. Social stationery can run you as little as $2.5 a card and we’ll quote couture party details as we dream them up together.

*We realize there ain’t nothin' “average” about us, but must point out that pricing does vary based on printing processes, embellishments, sizing, materials and self-assembly. As such, we’re ready, willing and able to work within your budget.

paper snobs

At billet-doux, our creations are fashioned from only top quality materials and papers. The bulk of our stylish papers are the same stationery components used by a swanky national paper boutique. Paper weighs in at a beefy 80lb stock. Since we don’t do chincy, any substitutions can be expected to meet our high standards. Samples are available upon request for a $5 processing fee.
